Dugi Otok

"Long Island" is the largest of the North Dalmatian islands. It is about 45 km long and between 1 and 4 km wide, the highest peak is Vela Straža which is 338 m. The island has series of stunning cliffs and coves between Sakarun i Telašćica with a prominent lighthouse on the north side, and a Nature Park, Telašćica, in the southeast.

Seafood and a variety of fruits make this island a self contained ecological unit. The island has a population of 1500 inhabitants so it is well connected to the mainland by ferries and fast boats.. The main road connects all villages on the island and offers a magnificent view.

You are sure to enjoy the beaches of Dugi otok, alone or with friends swimming in crystal clear water. You can dive, enjoy the donkey races or theatrical performances and musical concerts. Uvala Sakarun, has a beachl of white sand, pebbles, a pine forest and is a place of pure enjoyment.
