Trekking
Trekking is a mixture of walking and hiking, regardless of whether you are walking up a mountain, across the plains, or by the sea. The word comes from the Afrikaans language spoken in South Africa and it means “climbing.” Trekking was promulgated among Himalayan mountaineers in the 1960s. Croatia has many beautiful areas for this activity. Would-be trekkers need only a good will and basic sports equipment. We will then take you on the Velebit mountain and through the Velebit Nature Park, trekking with experienced guides.
