Only forty kilometers from Zagreb, in the heart of the Hrvatsko zagorje, among the beautiful green hills, lies the most beautiful among them - "Vuglec Breg". It is located in the town of Krapina, in the picturesque village of Škarićevo, only 4 km from the highway Zagreb - Macelj, as well as from thermal swimming center, spa Krapinske. "Vuglec Breg" stretching to over 12 hectares captures with its beauty and breathtaking view overlooking the meadows and other hills of Zagorje. "Vuglec Breg" was built on the foundations of the old village of Vugleci. Updated village now consists of four native houses, restaurant, wine cellar, an arbor with a baker's oven and grill, in order to further illustrate the tradition of Zagorje, we have renovated the old wells that were once used for water supply and Zagorje old cellar named Imbra. For lovers of long walks in the fresh air we offer a myriad of trails and walking paths, all surrounded by vineyards, orchards, forests and pastures.
