  Dr. Bagatin earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Zagreb Medical School. He served his internship in Clinical Hospital «Merkur» and General and Plastic Surgery residency training in Clinical Hospital Centre «Rebro».
  Dr. Bagatin is active member of Croatian Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and is certified by the Croatian Medical Chamber.

Face

NOSE RESHAPING (Rhinoplasty)

Nose reshaping, or rhinoplasty, is one of the most common plastic surgery procedure performed today. Often, the structure or size of the nose is not proportionate with the other features on the face. Nose reshaping procedures can help to correct the disproportionate appearance of the nose by altering the size or shape of the nose, the span of the nostrils, or the angle between the nose and the upper lip. I

n addition, nose reshaping procedures may be performed to correct a nasal birth defect or injury as well as chronic breathing problems. It is important to realize that individuals considering a nose reshaping procedure should be at least fifteen years of age, as this procedure should only be performed after the nose has finished developing completely.

EYELID SURGERY (Blepharoplasty)

During surgery, extra skin, fat and muscles are removed from the upper and lower eyelids. The surgery can repair a dropping upper eyelid and a "puffy" lower eyelid, which can make a person look tired or older than they actually are. As well, dropping eyelids can interrupt with a person`s field of vision..

EAR SURGERY (Otoplasty)

The surgery is called otoplasty and it is targeted to correct protruding or large outer ears.
Additional conditions which can be corrected are "lop ear", in which the upper ear is folded and leans forward; "cupped ear", in which the outer ears are unusually small; and "shell ear", in which there is flattening of the folds resulting in a shell-like ear. Long, short or torn ear lobes also can be fixed. This operation can repair congenital ear defects and make reconstruction of the outer ear after trauma.

FACELIFT (Rhytidectomy)

As we become older, the gravity, exposure to sun, and everyday stress, all leave their marks on our faces. Wrinkles appear between the nose and the mouth, the skin becomes loose, dropping below the jaw line, and extra fat and skin accumulates around the neck. Facelift cannot stop the aging process but it can "turn back time" by removing extra skin and fat and by straightening the muscles.
The ideal candidates for the procedure are patients with face and neck skin which started to drop, yet still has its elasticity.

INJECTABLE FILLERS ( Esthelis / Aquamid / Fat Injections )

The support structure of your skin is formed by natural proteins. Wrinkles begin to appear when these proteins thin. This loss is usually connected to aging, but smoking, exposure to the sun, pollution, health, heredity, and lifestyle may also be the cause. The injectable fillers are substances that can be used to both lift lines and sculpt the face. They can fill wrinkles, scars, under-eye depressions, build up cheeks and chins, lift brows, and define and enlarge the lips. Injectable fillers are a popular treatment
and are administered by way of a simple injection treatment, for which no anaesthetic is required.

Breast Reduction for Men (Gynecomastia)

Breasts in males are called genycomastia, a Greek word meaning "breasts looking similar to women's". 40-60% of men have breasts; many conditions can cause this phenomenon like medication and medical problems (alcohol use, marihuana and steroids), but in most of the cases the reason is not known. It can damage self-confidence and self esteem, therefore breast reduction can help.
The ideal candidates for the operation are men with genicomastia for at least a year, who have developed chest muscles and elastic skin. The surgery is not recommended for overweight men who can't loose weight using diet and exercise.
